As I open the Soulful Growing ‘Posts’ page to enter my first Blog, what stares at me from the top of the page is “Add New Page.”
Not having come to this Blog with any preconceived notion about what this first post will be about, I thought it is a welcome idea to write about adding a new page. I wrote the title of of this post at 11.59 pm – just a minute before the start of October 29, 2011.
Here I am, starting a new page.
I realize, for the past several years, I have been writing on the same page.
Why didn’t I go to the next page?
Perhaps I was afraid of scripting a new story on a new page. So, I preferred the security of the same old page. After all, it is easier to write the same story on the same page, on auto-writing mode.
Or may be, the sojourn on the old page was not a bad thing after all. It taught me a lot more about truth, pain, suffering, love, frustrations, living, dying, dreams, not giving up and so many other things – than at any other time of my life.
So, my entries into my new page has a context of understanding, a new perspective, more tenderness and greater depth.
At whatever age one is, it helps to have some perspective and depth. Now it is time to move on. Because the new page is waiting to be written on.
And, as I think about adding a new page daily, I feel excited. Because adding a new page is all about creation and change. It is about exploration and growing.
Something tells me that effortless growth happens in a state of presence and awareness and accomplishing things soulfully.
I have to scout for new stories to write everyday. I have to learn from these stories and take action to produce meaningful experiences. And thus script a new life altogether, growing soulfully.
